The Meridian business center required the delivery of a fully operational grade-A office building within a tight 18-month construction programme in a live urban environment.
The project began with enabling works and deep piled foundation installation, followed by the reinforced concrete frame which was completed floor by floor using a climbing formwork system. The structural programme was managed to allow early facade and MEP installation on lower floors while upper floors were still under frame construction.

Facade and building envelope
The building envelope consists of a full-height unitised curtain wall system, specified for thermal performance, acoustic attenuation, and long-term weather resistance. The facade package was coordinated closely with the structural engineer to manage deflection tolerances and ensure the system performed to the required air and water tightness standards.

MEP systems and fit-out
The mechanical and electrical installation covered full HVAC distribution, BMS integration, electrical distribution boards on each floor, fire detection and suppression systems, and structured data cabling throughout. CAT A fit-out across all office floors was completed and handed over ready for tenant fit-out works to commence.
