The Nordvik logistics hub required the delivery of one of the largest single-phase industrial construction programmes undertaken in the region, within a 22-month construction period.
The project commenced with extensive enabling works including site clearance, ground improvement, and infrastructure diversions across the full 18-hectare site. A detailed geotechnical programme informed the design of the piled slab foundation system, which was engineered to support heavy forklift loads and racking systems across the full floor plate.

Structural frame and envelope
The superstructure consists of a long-span portal steel frame erected in phased packages to maintain programme momentum across the full footprint. Insulated composite cladding panels, rooflights, and high-speed loading doors were installed in parallel with the structural programme to accelerate the weather-tight programme milestone.

MEP, fit-out, and handover
The mechanical and electrical installation included LED high-bay lighting across all warehouse zones, full ESFR sprinkler system, underfloor heating in the office and welfare block, and a site-wide BMS. The project was handed over in two phases to allow the client to commence fit-out operations ahead of full building completion.
